Lifestyle & Wellbeing Assessments
By maintaining a healthy workforce you can make a real difference to how motivated and engaged your workforce feels. The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Department based at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth, believes that the workplace is the best environment to promote a healthy and active lifestyle that leads to decreased sickness absence, increased employee productivity and job satisfaction.
Inform, inspire and educate your workforce through a unique Health and Wellbeing Day on site in your company and show them that you invest and care about them. Our Skills and expertise have been utiliised by a wide range of businesses in Portsmouth and the surrounding area to achieve a healthy workforce.
As we get older, we have a higher risk of developing age related health conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease or type 2 Diabetes. Once your employees had a health check with us, our healthcare professionals will discuss their results with them, and they will be given advice to help them lower the risk and maintain and improve their health.
Our “Health and Wellbeing Day” will be tailored to your needs and could consist of the following:
Employee Health Checks:
- Blood pressure
- Blood Cholesterol
- Blood Glucose
- Height / weight
- Waist/Hip ratio
- Skin assessments
Employees identified with abnormal results will be advised to contact their GP for further assessment.
The employees will be provided with a “health passport” that includes the results of the day as well as a small Goodie bag containing gifts and useful information leaflets regarding healthy eating, physical activity, stopping smoking and recommended safe limits of alcohol.
Contact us and we can create a package bespoke to your requirements, your company and your budget.
